Hi everyone, my name is Josh Kittle and welcome to my course Fundaments for CICDI am a Collaboration Engineer and Blogger Cisco has become an industry leader in collaboration technology. In this course, we are going to help prepare you for the CICD examination.

Some of the major topics that we will cover include:

      Traditional Voice Transport and Fundamentals
      Basics of IP Telephony
      Each of the Unified Communications Manager Components
      Cisco IP Phone Basics and the Registration Process
By the end this course, you will be well on your way to preparing for the Cisco CICD Certification examination. Before beginning the course you should be familiar with basic Cisco routing and Switching, at roughly the CCNA level. Once you complete this course, we would encourage you to take each of the follow-on CICD-related certification courses, each covering a portion of the overall CICD.
